This course on infectious diseases is hosted by Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University (UNDIP). It aims to introduce medical students from outside Indonesia, especially those from developed sub-tropical countries, to the health issues and management of tropical infections in Indonesia. This year, Leprosy and Tuberculosis will be the topics of the course.
Indonesia offers the best place to study various tropical infection cases, especially Tuberculosis and Leprosy, because the two diseases still have many infected patients. The course will be held in a collaboration between the Department of Internal Medicine (Division of Infectious Disease), Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Department of Public Health, Department of Nutrition, Department of Nursing, and the Internation Affairs Section Faculty of Medicine Universitas Diponegoro.
