Clinical Skills Laboratory
















The Clinical Skills Laboratory is a facility designed to enhance students’ practical abilities through simulated cases that closely resemble real-life conditions and clinical settings. Located in Building E, the laboratory spans the 2nd to 4th floors. It consists of 36 classrooms, which also serve as venues for students to take Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).

Central Laboratory
The Central Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (FK Undip) is an education- and research-oriented facility that can be utilized by the FK Undip academic community as well as other faculties within Diponegoro University. It also provides professional services to the public. The laboratory is located at Jl. Prof. Moeljono S. Trastotenojo, Tembalang, Semarang 50275, within the Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND) complex, adjacent to the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. It is situated at the northernmost part of the campus.

- ELISA Reader
- The Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is a technique used to detectantibodies or infectious agents in a sample.ELISA finds use in the fields of biotechnology and medicine as a diagnostic tool. Mainly, antibodies and color changes are used to identify target substances.

- To obtain DNA/RNA for mutation or gene variation analysis, or for detecting specific microorganisms.

Basic Biomedical Laboratory






















The Basic Biomedical Laboratory serves as the main laboratory within the Faculty of Medicine for educational and practicum activities, primarily supporting the Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy study programs. The laboratory consists of several rooms, including the Anatomy Laboratory, Wet Laboratory, Dry Laboratory, Pharmacy Laboratory (covering Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Biology, and Microbiology), as well as the Pre-Clinical Dentistry Laboratory.
Although it primarily functions as an educational laboratory, the Basic Biomedical Laboratory also supports research activities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, not only from within the Faculty of Medicine but also from other faculties and institutions outside Diponegoro University. Several instruments available in this laboratory have significantly contributed to a wide range of experimental studies.

Experimental Animal Laboratory





The Experimental Animal Laboratory is a research support facility within the Faculty of Medicine. It facilitates research activities involving experimental animal models—primarily mice and rats—and can be used by undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from Diponegoro University as well as from other institutions.
This laboratory provides facilities for animal maintenance, treatment, and sample collection. It consists of several main rooms, including the animal maintenance room, treatment room, and histopathology specimen processing room. Established in 2018, the laboratory has supported over 230 experimental animal studies.

Computer Laboratory






















In 2018, the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University was relocated from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor of Building B. In 2020, the facility was renovated to increase the number of workstations, which were later inspected by DIKTI and PNUK in 2022 to meet the standards required for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) Center.
Currently, the Computer Laboratory is located in two adjacent rooms (B315 and B317–B318) on the 3rd floor of Building B, Faculty of Medicine Campus, Jl. Prof. Mr. Sunario, Diponegoro University, Tembalang, Semarang. It accommodates 150 workstations in Labkom 1 and 140 workstations in Labkom 2.
