Collaborated with Vrije University Medical Center Amsterdam, Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University conducted a guest lecture activity in the form of scientific seminar delivered by visiting lecturers, practitioners, and researchers from foreign institutions. It is an important phase in capacity building within the academic community of the Faculty if Medicine, Diponegoro University. With this guest lecture, it is hoped that not only the students but also the staff will increase their knowledge and skill.
This activity aimed at increasing the competency of Faculty of Medical’s students in developing genetic scientific competence in English skills and scientific writing. It is also expected to help in strengthening cooperation and exchanging information through this invited lecture program.
The guest lecture on Tuesday (06/20/2023), 1 – 3 PM took place in the Theatrical Room Building B Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University. It was participated by undergraduate students of the Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. From the Netherlands, Prof. Gerard Pals (Clinical and Molecular Geneticist) was represented Vrije University Medical Center.
In other guest lectures entitled “Precision Medicine”, Diponegoro University also invited Prof. Gerard Pals which was targeted to Master, Doctoral, and Internal Medicine Specialist students.
Also a lecture entitled “Marfan Syndrome” in the Pediatric Specialist Section.
