Thursday, December 14, 2023. Diponegoro University Faculty of Medicine (UNDIP) has maintained its image as a forward-thinking educational institution yet again by sending a delegation of brilliant students to the Student Exchange program at Shinshu University in Japan. Hanif Nurrifqi (Medical Profession Study Program) had the chance to complete a clinical clerkship at Shinshu University Hospital for a total of four weeks under the supervision of Dr. Nani Maharani, M.Si.Med., Ph.D.
The Shinshu University School of Medicine organizes the Student Exchange Program each year in partnership with the Diponegoro University Faculty of Medicine. After this activity, the delegation’s medical expertise and experience may be implemented and improved in Indonesia, particularly at the Diponegoro University Faculty of Medicine.
This activity is carried out in the department designated by the delegation. The Nephrology Department and the Gastroenterology Department are the two departments. Clinical practice activities in the Nephrology Department will take place every working day between November 6 and November 17, 2023. Meanwhile, they will be held at the Gastroenterology Department from November 20 to December 1, 2023. All events have the potential to give delegates with fresh experiences and knowledge that will be beneficial to medical science in Indonesia.
The Student Exchange Program at Shinshu University Japan 2023 not only benefits participants, but it also enhances the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP’s reputation as a progressive educational institution that continues to innovate in order to provide a comprehensive learning experience for its students. Apart from that, this activity is expected to foster partnerships with Shinshu University instructors and students, as well as enhance ties between the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, and Shinshu University.
