This summer course offers a comprehensive approach overview of maternal and child health based-on evidence to innovative solutions. With interactive expert lectures and practicing in laboratories and community services, we will discuss the major challenges in maternal child health in the following sub-themes:
- Evidence-based approach in maternal and child health practice
- Antenatal prevention to emergency obstetric & perinatal care: Management & delivery service
- Re-emerging infectious disease to catastrophic maternal & perinatal outcomes
- Environmental exposure, nutritional approach during pregnancy & their impact on the first 1000 days of life
- Promoting local wisdom to support community involvement
Course goal:
The course aims to provide comprehensive learning to the participant through the introduction and lessons learned in global maternal and child health within an interactive problem-based learning approach through evidence practice.
Study load
Fulltime, two weeks including practicing in Live in Puskesmas (Community Health Centre) and Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post) in the field and remote area
