SEMARANG, INDONESIA – The 9th International Conference on Translational Medicine and Health Sciences (ICTMHS) 2025, hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Indonesian Physician of the Community Medicine and Public Health Association, was successfully held on 6–7 September 2025 at the Gumaya Tower Hotel, Semarang.
With the theme “Bridging the Gap: Translating Evidence-Based Research into Effective Public Health System for Global Impact,” the conference served as a vital platform for advancing dialogue and collaboration between researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and public health professionals.
The event featured 7 renowned international speakers from Harvard Medical School, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Kagoshima University Japan, Hiroshima University Japan, Universiti Malaya Malaysia, and 12 distinguished speakers from several Universities in Indonesia, have shared their expertise across plenary lectures, symposiums, and panel discussions.
In addition, oral and poster presentations provided opportunities for young researchers and practitioners to present their work and exchange innovative ideas.

More than 250 participants from Oman, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia attended the conference, engaging in discussions that emphasized the importance of transforming evidence-based research into practical strategies for stronger and more resilient health systems, both nationally and globally.
In his opening remarks, Dr.dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko, M.Kes, Sp.B,Sups.Onk(K), the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Diponegoro, highlighted the significance of the conference in strengthening Indonesia’s role in global health collaboration, underscoring Universitas Diponegoro’s commitment to bridging science and practice for better health outcomes.
