SEMARANG – The Faculty of Medicine at Diponegoro University (Undip) held the 253rd Medical Doctor’s Oath, the 13th Dentist’s Oath, and the Graduation of Specialists and Subspecialists for Period II of 2026. The ceremony took place at the Maj. Gen. Dr. R. Soewondo Sastrodiprojo Building, Tembalang Campus, on Thursday (April 23, 2026). A total of 32 new doctors and 40 specialists and subspecialists were officially sworn in as professional medical personnel, ready to contribute to the national health system.
The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the Undip Faculty of Medicine, including:

Also in attendance were the Director of Human Resources at Diponegoro University National Hospital (RSND), representatives from the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), officials from the Semarang City Government, and the parents of the graduates.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko, M.Kes., Sp.B., Subsp.Onk(K) emphasized that the graduates hold a strategic role in supporting the transformation of health services.
“You are in a strategic position to strengthen national referral services, develop teaching hospitals, and provide high-quality, affordable subspecialist services. We hope that you will not only become clinicians, but also educators, researchers, leaders, and agents of change,” he stated.

Based on the academic report presented by the Head of the Department of Medicine, Dr. dr. Trilaksana Nugroho, M.Kes, Sp.M(K), FICS, FISCM, the highest academic achievement was earned by dr. Mega Pandu Arfiyanti from the Clinical Microbiology Study Program, who achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00. Meanwhile, the Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research at Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital (RSUP) Semarang, Sri Utami, SKM, MARS, expressed her appreciation for the graduates and shared her hope that they would be able to address global challenges in the health sector.
Representing the parents of the graduates, the Chief of North Aceh Police, AKBP Trie Aprianto, S.H., M.H, expressed his gratitude to the Undip Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Kariadi Hospital for the knowledge and humanitarian values instilled in the graduates. He emphasized that the professional oath is a moral commitment to providing ethical, high-integrity, and empathetic healthcare services.
